I'm getting ready for our Thanksgiving feast. We are staying home this year. No travel for us as we will be traveling in December.
I am one of those, rare people... Who will not decorate for the next holiday until it is the next holiday. I proudly have all of my fall and Thanksgiving decorations up.
Now onto the food... I am a Food Network junkie... I get the magazines, record shows... You know obsessed. This was NOT always the case. I used to pick up the local grocery store Thanksgiving in a box for $50. But after a little Rachael Ray and Giada watching. I have confidence!
The table is set and the counter is ready for food! I will post what I made later :)

New Years Eve Dinner
Happy 2012!
I got a Carrabbas's Italian Grill cookbook for Christmas, so I decided to try it out and make some Chicken Marsala and spaghetti with a tomato sauce for NYE dinner. The process took about 3 hours, but I made everything from scratch and it was delicious!
First you have to make a grill seasoning and grill baste. (both you can use later for future dinners!)
Next, start the tomato sauce and the Marsala sauce.
Last, cook the noodles and chicken and bring the whole meal together, yummmmmmm.

Traveling
Yes, I've been traveling a lot for work and personal reasons but my resolution is to blog more! I got home from California on Friday December 17th. On Saturday am we left for Chicago. Visited my Grandma and celebrated her 97th birthday. Saw my niece Madison and nephew Mason, sister Julie and bil Shannon, Dad and his wife Maria and finally Mom and Snickers! It was wonderful and then we went back to Grand Rapids for a couple of days and dropped off the dogs at Holiday Pet Resort and headed south! We drove 9 hours the first day and spent the night in Goodletsville TN and now we are in Kennesaw GA spening some time with Johns brother Wade and his wife Lori and their puppy Tucker! Later this week onto South Carolina! I love vacation!
